Inspiring students to
study STEM

THE CHALLENGE

In ten-year’s time 60% of all jobs in the Australian workforce will be jobs that don’t exist today. Most will be influenced by the S.T.E.M. subjects (Science. Technology. Engineering. Maths.). However, the number of students taking those subjects today is falling dramatically.

THE CREATIVE SOLUTION

We created three viral films, with audience-relevant social influencers, showcasing products so technically advanced viewers felt compelled to debated their authenticity (the products were, in fact, fictional). The films were then re-released, revealing Samsung’s involvement, stating that creators were wanted to make the products a reality – creators with a knowledge of S.T.E.M. The films generated 16 million unpaid views, 21 million total views and 50 million unpaid media impressions.
